Opening Times
* The forest is open daily for visitors on foot, 24 hours a day, but the car park gates are locked at night. Gates open by 08:00 daily and are locked at dusk.

In general, pedestrians will not be charged for access to forests, unless there are compelling reasons to do so.
If charges apply, it will be £2.00 per adult and £1.00 per child.
